
Lowell was introduced to acting by the film Dangerously Close followed by a minor role in the Robin Williams movie Club Paradise. 4 She progressed to roles including co-starring as Bond girl Pam Bouvier in the James Bond film Licence to Kill (1989) and, beginning in 1996 acting as assistant district attorney Jamie Ross for two seasons in the drama television series Law & Order, a character she reprised on the show in 2005 as a guest star on the spinoff show, Law & Order: Trial by Jury, and again on the original series in 2022, when it was relaunched to a 21st season.
