Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, born in Wellington,) is a Canadian actress. Paquin is a native of Winnipeg was raised in Wellington and first made her acting debut in the role of Flora McGrath when she played the role of Flora McGrath in The Piano. She won an Academy Award at the age of 11 to be the Best supporting Actress. Anna Paquin is full Anna Helene Paquin born on the 24th of July, 1982 in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Canadian actress and New Zealander who, at the age of a youngster, was awarded an Academy Award in 1993 for the best supporting actress. She was the fiery daughter of Holly Hunter's role The Piano. Paquin made her debut as a child with a role of the Jane Eyre main character in the Franco Zeffirelli novel Jane Eyre followed by an important role of Fly Away Home. Paquin had a small role in the TV film of 1997 adaption to Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding. She also played the queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (2007). The role she played was for teenagers on Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000) and A Walk on the Moon (2000). She portrayed the role of a groupie Polexia Aphrodisa in Almost Famous (2000).
