Harry Edward Styles - also known as Harry Styles - is a British musician and composer. Harry Styles has been acknowledged as the composer to The One Direction band. He was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on February 1, 1994, and is the child of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, along with three of his classmates, formed a music group dubbed White Eskimo. The band's outstanding performances enabled them to take home in the Battle of Bands 2009. He always showed an interest in music but was enthused to be a lawyer or physical therapist. To support the needs of his children, he took some time at a bakery. The year was 2010. Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he sang Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. This meant that the group he was in had to be split. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who suggested Harry Styles to be part a future group called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. The formation of the group took place in the year 2010. The five youngsters were supported by Simon Cowell. During the competition the band played songs, such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler so the group became one of the candidates for the prize. However, they finished third place behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles did not receive a prize, however Cowell offered a 2-million-pound deal with One Direction in order for them to join Syco Records.
