Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology. She is an Argentinean of Scottish, English and Argentinean heritage. Her mother has Spanish and English heritage. Taylor-Joy has five siblings four from her father's previous marriage. They were originally from Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria as Taylor-Joy reached the age of six. Taylor Joy stated that moving from Buenos aires to Victoria was difficult and she was not able to learn English and was hoping to go home to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school when she changed schools from Northlands. Then she attended Queen's Gate School where she was a ballet student and performed in school productions. She dropped out of high school at 16 to pursue an acting profession. Taylor-Joy had always wanted to become an actor. At the age of 16, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the opportunity to be a model.
